In June 2023, I began posting daily on Twitter and LinkedIn.

3. Increase your “Luck Surface Area”

I love the concept of Luck Surface Area.

Put yourself in the position to get lucky, and luck will strike.

Example: I was just invited to an M&A event at the Harvard Club in NYC.

Though LinkedIn, I met the founder of the company that runs the event. He gave me two passes for free.

“250 leading CEOs will be attending along with scores of PE and Investment professionals.”

If I wasn’t networking and building on social media, I would never have been invited.

Put yourself in positions to get lucky, luck will strike.

So if you’re considering building your online brand, I promise it’s worth it.
