On August 25th, my girlfriend and I entered a new chapter in our lives. We became “Location Independent”. Without a home base, we travel the country (and world), constantly exploring new places.

Here’s a quick overview of the cities we’ve visited / stayed in:

Buffalo, Columbus, St. Louis, Denver (2.5 weeks), Cheyenne, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, Salt Lake City, Lake Tahoe, Reno, Napa, San Francisco, Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Indio, Lake Havasu, Mesquite, St. George, Phoenix.

Most of our time in these cities was limited to less than three nights. We’ve stayed primarily in hotels and hostels along the way, and have packed up everything and traveled in my small sedan each day.

It's been an incredible journey so far. Here are some highlights:

1. Hiking to Delta Lake in Grand Teton National Park

This was a fairly difficult hike (we’re not exactly seasoned hikers) but was WELL WORTH the effort. The turquoise water was an incredible sight.

2. Attending PowerTrip Music Festival

LEGENDARY bands performed at this festival: Iron Maiden, Guns N’ Roses, Judas Priest, AC/DC, Tool, and Metallica. Phenomenal weekend of live music. Slash lived up to his reputation.

3. Visiting Alcatraz

We took a tour of Alcatraz and it was as cool as you’d imagine. They gave us headsets for a self guided tour narrated by ex-guards and ex-inmates of Alcatraz. It was incredible.

4. Golfing at Wolf Creek Golf Club

Wolf Creek was the number one golf course on my bucket list. It did not disappoint. Some of the most tremendous views of any golf course I’ve ever played.
